TLI21216 Certificate II in Driving Operations
Australian Workplace Training offers TLI21216 Certificate II in Driving Operations via two delivery modes:
Online (E-Learning) and Externally.
This is a qualification for those engaged in driving operation job roles within the Transport and Logistics industry.
It involves a prescribed range of tasks involving known routines and procedures, and taking some accountability for the quality of work outcomes.
Successful achievement of the licencing units within the qualification must align with licencing and regulatory requirements applicable to driving and state/territory regulatory requirements.

An interview with a trainer will be arranged prior to your enrolment. In this interview any difficulty you might experience with your training will be discussed, these may be language, literacy or physical disabilities. If you have any concerns or special needs please discuss them with the trainer during the interview as support could be available for you.
External and Online students study this course at their own pace, however it is anticipated the course will be completed in approximately twelve to eighteen months, it can be completed earlier depending on the individual. Students work at home with self-paced units and have access to a trainer either face to face or by phone, fax, correspondence and email for assistance. Students will be required to attend block training to complete practical activities as well as maintain monthly contact with their trainer via phone, email or face to face (please contact reception to arrange an appointment with your trainer).
During the course we will work with you to arrange a suitable venue(s) for work placement. At the end of the course you will be expected to have completed a minimum of 100 hours of work placement to enable the assessment of your ability to implement your training under working conditions. Please discuss this with your trainer at your interview.
You may wish to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for your life experiences or training you have already undertaken and achieved. If this is your intention, please discuss it in the interview with your Trainer who can arrange for this to occur. The course cost can vary if an RPL process is undertaken.
The certificate consists of 18 units: 6 core and 12 elective.
Each unit includes the relevant training and assessment materials required to achieve competency.

TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck or TLID2010 Operate a forklift

*TLILIC2015 – cost: $90 per hour. Minimum cost of unit is $720 for 8 hours
