Completion of Year 12 (Senior Secondary Certificate) or equivalent, or an Australian AQF Certificate IV (or higher) qualification.
 
Attend a course suitability interview to assess learning support needs, motivation, and career goals in line with course outcomes.
Complete a pre-enrolment LLN assessment (such as CSPA or SRNI) to confirm core skills for successful participation.
National Police Check
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
COVID-19 vaccination evidence (as required by host organisation or public-health directives)
Up-to-date immunisation record (as requested by placement provider)
Demonstrate commitment, self-motivation, and the ability to engage in adult learning, and be prepared to work in diverse and sometimes challenging community environments.
Have access to a computer or tablet with internet connectivity to complete online learning and assessments through AWT’s Learning Management System (LMS).
