What are Learning Support Services (LSS)?
Starting a new course is an exciting step, but it’s not always easy. Whether you’re upskilling, changing careers, or beginning your education journey, sometimes life throws curveballs that can make studying a challenge. At Australian Workplace Training (AWT), we believe in empowering every student to thrive. That’s why we offer comprehensive Learning Support Services (LSS) to our South Australian students.
Who is eligible for Learning Support Services?
To ensure that those with the greatest need receive support, LSS at Australian Workplace Training are available to students who have complex support needs interfering with their studies and meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled under subsidy in a course on the Subsidised Training List (STL).
- Fee-for-Service students in classes with subsidised students.
- Undertaking accredited training as part of a Skills SA subsidised project.
- School enrolled students who have been through the VETRO process and are enrolled in a subsidised course for school students.
