What are Learning Support Services (LSS)?
Starting a new course can be exciting, but it can also come with its challenges. Whether you’re upskilling, changing careers, or just starting your educational journey, sometimes you need a little extra support to truly thrive. That’s where Learning Support Services (LSS) come in.
At Australian Workplace Training, we believe in providing every student with the tools they need to succeed. That’s why we’ve partnered with Interskills, a leading provider of LSS, to offer a comprehensive range of support options for our South Australian students.
Who is eligible for Learning Support Services?
To ensure that those with the greatest need receive support, LSS at Australian Workplace Training are available to students who have complex support needs interfering with their studies and meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled under subsidy in a course on the Subsidised Training List (STL).
- Fee-for-Service students in classes with subsidised students.
- Undertaking accredited training as part of a Skills SA subsidised project.
- School enrolled students who have been through the VETRO process and are enrolled in a subsidised course for school students.
